In 2006 the competition was named «Northern Fairy-tale». We took part in it for the 1st time then. 6 students created a collection of poems «First Trait»:

1. Mikhail Vorobyov. «The Song From The Depth» – translation of Grigory Oster’s poem
2. Anna Dzis. «Nikel – My Joy And Pain» – translation of her own poem
3. Kseniya Kopteva. «Nikel Metallurgists» – translation of Jury Andriyanov’s poem
4. Denis and Sergei Konyashins, Aleksandr Salkov. «How beautiful the nature in spring is…», «Oh War!» – translations of Ekaterina Shevchenko’s poems (A. Salkov’s second cousin).

For our book we were rewarded with the winner’s diploma of the regional competition. And Murmansk Branch Of Consulate General Of Finland gave us the winner’s diploma of the International competition.
